El cantar de Nina Simone

  [Letra traducida de una canción de la pianista, compositora, cantante y activista negra Nina Simone: Ain't Got No, I Got Life,  Nina Simone, 1968. La canción forma parte del musical hippy Hair de 1967, y fue adaptada por Simone en 1968. Es una fusión en realidad de dos temas del musical: “I’m black/I’m Got No” y “I got life”; fue grabada dos veces y con diferencias; la letra de la primera grabación es de Gerome Ragni y James Rado, con música de Galt MacDermot. Pero a mí me gusta más la segunda. Las dos canciones hippies de Hair se convirtieron en “Ain’t Got No/I Got Life», publicado como sencillo y perteneciente al álbum Nuff Said de Nina Simone, con gran éxito en Reino Unido y otros lugares.
